| I write different poems all the time. Here are some of my favourites at the moment. |

The
Highwayman |

I wish I was a baker,
Living over the shop,
With the lovely smell of fresh baked bread,
And a fridge full of bottles of pop.
I’d make currant buns,
Sticky donuts,
And custard tarts all a-quiver,
But alas, I’m a villainous Highwayman,
Oh well,
“STAND AND DELIVER!” |

If you ask it nicely

A crab can tell you how to
Scuttle sideways and never trip,
Click your pincers, snip, snip, snip,
Live inside a hard curved shell,
Wave your eyes on stalks as well,
How to love the golden sand,
Live in the sea and on the land.
But it can’t tell you
How to fly,
Or the secrets of the sky. |

We love the letter a,
It’s the first one on our list,
We love the letter a,
It’s not to be missed.
We love b and c,
Fond of d and e as well,
What would we do without f, g and h?
We simply cannot tell.
i, j, and k, they’re great,
Along with l and m,
n and o and p and q,
We like using them.
r and s are useful,
Along with t, u, v,
And what a treat to finish off
With w, x, y, zee! |
