She is delighted to have co-tutored courses for young writers at Ty Newydd, The National Writer's Centre for Wales. She's worked with fellow poets Iwan Llywd and Peter Sansom.

The 2007 Hay Festival brought her and Tom Barrance of Media Education Wales together, in a film and poetry project for children in two local schools. The children wrote poems and then illustrated them to make short films.

2007 also saw the 'Zoo' project for Arts Active, based at St David's Hall, Cardiff. This enormous project combined writing of words and music,and making visual art with young children in Cardiff schools. Francesca and composer Helen Woods have worked together before in projects for Blackwood Miner's Institute Arts Development.

Francesca's association with the Wales Millennium Centre includes a project based on 'Edward Scissorhands' , and continues with Ty Cerdd with 'The First Dragon'.
