Mervyn and I created ‘The First Dragon’, for narrator and orchestra, originally commissioned as a companion piece for ‘Peter and the Wolf’.
Our collaboration also includes ‘Hail Taliesin’, a collection of songs for the Youth Choir of Wales; ‘The Green Isles of the Ocean’ a narrative work commissioned by the Tenby Music Festival; 'A Tapestry of Flowers,' a song cycle; and many other songs.
Two of our songs, "Wet Through" and "Hitch Hiking" were performed at a concert on 28th September at the Wales Millennium Centre, at a marvellous concert to mark the retirement of Keith Griffin, the Director of Ty Cerdd.

Mervyn is an inspiration. I am proud to know him.
