It is a joy and a delight, running poetry workshops in schools. I write for and with children from ages 4 to 11. I often use traditional stories as a starting point for poetry writing, as well as my own specially created poetry. I can make little books with the children too.

I can create poems and workshops ideas to suit your particular class, or topic, or fit in with any theme.

I can come to you for a day, or for longer.

I am proud of my long association with Writing Squads and groups of young writers. As well as the more conventional settings, I have worked with young writers on trains, and in the open air!

I can offer INSET and training days, and have worked with Careers Wales West, as well as individual schools.

I am a member of Literature Wales' "Writers on Tour" scheme, which can provide help with funding my visits. Funding for events may be available under Literature Wales’ Writers on Tour scheme.
