PERFORMANCES OF SEA DOGS FOR 2012. 19th January, 7th February, and 11th April. The Brass Ensemble of RWCMD, conducted by Kevin Price, and I will be narrating. We will all be dressed as pirates.

Time for a Pirate tail. No, me hearties, I haven't spelled TAIL wrong! AHOY to Cap'n Exmark, his dog Spot, his landlubber nephew Luke Ovathar and his puppy Patch. It's about dogs, so it's definitely a tail! I wrote the story, and Gareth Wood the fabulous music, for symphonic brass (very loud) and timpani (also very loud).

The premiere of this pirate story, entitled "Sea Dogs" was at The North Wales International Music Festival, on 27th September, and the second performance the next day. The Jolly Roger flew over St Asaph Cathedral to celebrate. Brilliant. The third performance was at the Swansea Music Festival on 12th October 2011. Phew. I narrated, dressed in pirate costume. It was a wonderful experience, and I have never been to a concert where so many of the audience were dressed as pirates and armed with plastic cutlasses.
